TCI is proud to announce that Jamie Laird has joined the team as our Industrial Coatings Technical Director.
With more than 30 years of experience in protective coatings, corrosion control, inspection, technical services, and industry education, Jamie brings a unique combination of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and hands-on field experience to TCI.
Throughout his career, Jamie has held numerous leadership, technical, and business development roles with some of the industry’s most respected organizations. His experience includes serving as National Sales Director for Oil & Gas and Wind Energy at Hempel USA, Business Development Manager and Subject Matter Expert for HighRidge Corrosion, Industrial Market Manager and Technical Services Director for Rodda/Cloverdale Paints, and 17 years with Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine Coatings Division in a variety of sales and technical service positions.
Jamie is also a highly respected educator and industry advocate. As an instructor for AMPP’s Coating Inspector Program (CIP) and other industry training programs, Jamie has helped develop and mentor coatings professionals across North America. His commitment to advancing industry standards is reflected in his numerous certifications and longstanding involvement with AMPP (AMPP Certified Senior Coating Inspector Level 3, SSPC Master Coating Inspector, SSPC Protective Coating Specialist, SSPC Concrete Coating Inspector Level 2, SSPC Protective Coating Inspector Level 3, & NACE Certified Cathodic Protection Technician Level 2).
As Industrial Coatings Technical Director, Jamie will support TCI’s continued growth by providing technical leadership, strengthening customer partnerships, and helping deliver innovative coating solutions across a wide range of industrial markets.
