TCI ShieldStrong 955–PL
Chemical Resistant Protective Liner
Description
TCI ShieldStrong 955-PL is a chemical-resistant protective liner for infrastructures exposed to corrosive chemical environments or to wear and degradation over time. Our protective liner is used in both new construction and rehabilitation projects to extend the service life of infrastructure, limit the need for future repair and reduce the risk of large scale failures.
Key Advantages
- One of the longest liner warranties in the industry with a 10-year warranty
- Requires minimal surface preparation and can cure underwater
- Cost-effective and reduces future need for repairs
- Increases the structural capacity of pipes
- Increases the lifespan of infrastructure
Two Colors. Two Standards. Built for Every Water System.

TCI ShieldStrong 955-PL-G
Green for Wastewater
TCI ShieldStrong 955-PL-G is the ideal protective coating system for sewers, maintenance holes and wastewater structures and effectively protects against asset deterioration from sulfuric acid, gasses and other corrosive chemicals in wastewater environments. TCI ShieldStrong 955-PL-G is SWAT (severe wastewater analysis testing) tested and approved.

TCI ShieldStrong 955-PL-B
Blue for Potable Water
TCI ShieldStrong 955-PL-B is a chemical-resistant protective liner for concrete and steel pipes, chambers and structures and is approved for use in potable water applications. It is NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 certified with zero volatile organic components (VOC Free), utilized to improve the structural capacity and performance of water infrastructure.
Key Features
- Withstands up to 10 bar negative hydrostatic pressure
- Very high bond strength of a minimum 500 psi, each layer is designed to bond to each other
- Excellent sulfuric acid resistance, retaining 90% of its original flexural strength and 70% of its flexural modulus after being exposed to a 10% sulfuric acid solution for 1,000 hours
- Damage to the liner is localize (not full liner failure) and easy to repair in-situ
